In February 2004, Jim and Kathy McCrain began a five month oddessy in New Zealand. Kathy was transferred to Auckland for a temporary work assignment, and Jim followed her for moral support. (Isn't he just the greatest husband?) What follows is Jim's account of this adventure.
A "Lord of the Rings" Day.

Okay,
I have to change my opinion of SOME of the Queenstown people. Thanks
to James at Nomad Safaris, Kathy and I got to take a FREE
Lord of the Rings tour today! We got to visit
the locations for “Ithillien” and “Isengard.”
We also saw “Amon Hen” and a few other sites on the four
and a half hour tour. Thanks James and everyone at Nomad!
